The Client:
Master’s Videos, an independent video and photography business in Newmarket, Ont.
Established in 1992, the client got business through newspaper classified ads.
The Challenge:
While doing a good job, Master’s videos suffered from low customer enquiries, in an extremely competitive field.
To make matters worse, newer competitors were entering the field and eating his lunch so to speak.
They were booking 10x the clients that Master’s videos did.
The client relied on traditional classified ads to get clients to not great results.
Master’s videos was on the verge on closing the business for good.
The Work:
- We started with a Facebook business page and commenced producing content three times per week.
- In addition, we started producing FaceBook branding and sales ads. The ads would run for a few days at at time to warm up the audience to Master’s videos.
- Next a website was built to augment the Facebook campaign.
- We targeted an audience within a 50 kilometer radius of the client’s place of business.
The Result:
After a week of alternating between branding ads and sales ads, Master’s videos started getting phone calls from people who wanted photography and or video work done.
An increase of 15% year over year sales.
Before any seo work was started, the website started on the 20th page of search engines.
Initial seo work completed on the website resulted in the website coming up from page 20 to page 4 and after a few days, the bottom of page 1.
After more intense, seo work, Master’s videos website moved up to the 4th position on page 1 of search engines.
Master’s videos now enjoys bookings up to 3 months in advance from corporate events to weddings and everything in between.
